InnoHub Online Incubation

InnoLab Online Incubation
During the Covid-19 issues, all the activities including teaching and working are no longer held offline. Therefore, according to SK No. 038/IPMI-SK/III/2020, all teaching activities related to it will be conducted online. InnoLab, which is responsible to the Executive Director of IPMI, has decided to develop an online incubation program. Through this program, IPMI and Innovesia will be mentoring the clients (undergraduate/BBA IPMI students) from ideation until commercialization by using an online platform. The general framework of this activity can be seen on Figure 1 below.

As you can see the implementation of Three Months Online Incubation that starts from April 17, 2020 until June 29, 2020. The event started with a one-hour webinar held every Friday by Innovesia, which involved its team to foster BBA students. The clients are continuously monitored by IPMI from day to day operation and are discussed in a webinar with Innovesia every Friday. Besides Innovesia, Soqqle from Singapore was also invited as our partner in coaching about an education platform. The students tried to use Soqqle as a supporting software on the first week of online incubation.

The Objectives of InnoLab Online Incubation
- Determining InnoLab program between IPMI and Innovesia, including sourcing strategy, program management, and curriculum.
- Raising awareness about InnoLab Incubation Program to talents and sourcing ideas through online and offline channels.
- Gaining buy-in and commitment from different stakeholders (government, investment organizations, potential customers from corporates, academics, etc).
- Set up an Innovation Lab in a form of a physical space that will function as center for incubatees/participants to receive incubation curriculum and develop their product in different stages.
